additional footage: due to time restraints on youtube i had to make the interview under 10 minutes, but there is a part of the interview i really liked where kate talks about winning the Weekly Reader Invention Contest when she was 5 years old. notes: I met kate at the first soundwalk festival in 2003, her installation was adjacent to mine. She is a dear friend of mine and i am big fan of her work. aside from being extremely well versed in art, she is also super funny and i spend most of the time laughing we i get to hangout with her.
